Ep 6.6 "Don't You Feel Me?"

SPOILER ALERT:  This is a recap of the episode, so if you haven’t watched it and don’t want to know what happens, exit now…  Also, they style of this blog is written scene by scene to keep the same artistic narrative as the show.

QUICK LOOK:  Faepire’s are sparkling as Ben and Sookie get to know each other, we find out why Burrell wanted to bottle the TruBlood, and one of our friends meets a tragic and sad end.

Lafayette (possessed by Sookie’s father Corbitt) is drowning Sookie to keep Ben from turning her into a monster.  Bill can feel her fear and sends Ben to rescue her.  He goes after Lafayette, but Sookie explains that he is not himself and suggests he blast him with his light to see if that will force Corbitt out.  It works and Lafayette returns.  Sookie asks if her father is still there.  He is, so Sookie tells him to “get the fuck out” of her life forever.  Corbitt stands there bewildered, so Lafayette says, “you heard her” and he finally drifts away.

At vamp camp, Eric and Pam face each other in the white room armed with silver pointed stakes.  They stare at each other for a few moments, which causes Burrell to get anxious because he’s ready for blood.  Pam asks Eric if its true that he made another vampire.  He tells her yes.  They start to hover in the air and in unison they attack the guards stationed in the vents.  Eric throws one against the two-way mirror cracking it.  He looks in the hole and sees Steve who nervously utters that Burrell and his cronies made him do it.  Sara calls him a pussy.  The doors open and more guards come in so Pam and Eric drop their weapons and are taken away.

Lafayette wraps his head around the fact that Ben is a vampire that can walk in the day.  “There goes the damn neighborhood.”  Ben is being summoned by Billith, starts the zombie walk and vomits blood.  Sookie promises to help him because he saved her life twice.  They touch hands and use their fairy light to go to her fairy cemetery.  He can no longer feel Billith’s pull.  Bill can no longer feel him so he goes to ask Jessica what happened when he summoned her, but she is not there.  He realizes she has been taken away to vamp camp.  He asks Lilith for help, but she doesn’t answer.

Jason is at the LAVTF recruitment center being interviewed.  The guy asks him what he knows about vampires and their weaknesses and Jason goes over the full list.  (Aww, this is the smartest he’s ever been at anything!  I’m kind of proud of him in an ironic sort of way.)  The man asks how many vampires he’s killed and Jason responds by asking, “this week?”  The interviewer is so impressed that he goes to talk to his boss.  As he walks away Jason calls him a “racist fuck”.

Bill comes up with a plan to meet with Lilith.  He asks Takahashi to drain him of all of his blood until he is almost reaching the true death.  Then he can infuse it back into him once he has seen Lilith.

Nicole tells Sam that Emma is in the bathroom crying because she is scared.  She’s lost her mother and her father and wonders if she will ever see her grandmother again.  Sam says she is not alone, that she has him and he made a promise to Luna, but Nicole asks him if he’s sure if he will be enough for her.

In the fairy cemetery, Ben asks Sookie to tie him up because night is coming and he doesn’t want to hurt her.  He fed before seeing her on other occasions and doesn’t trust himself not to hurt her.  He finds a statue and she ties him to it with vines from a tree and seals it with her light.  (She’s been awfully generous with that light lately.  Wasn’t she told one season that it will eventually run out?  What happened to that?)  He says they can talk and get to know one another.  He wishes that she hadn’t found out about her parents trying to kill her.  All of a sudden his fangs pop out.  (Really, he’s way old so he should have a little more self-control.)

Jackson called Alcide to meet at his hotel room.  Jenny the hooker is there eating chicken.  Jackson tells him Sam and Nicole are there, but he won’t tell him the room number.  He says he didn’t want Alcide to find out he knew and hold it against him if he didn’t tell him, but he wants him to be smart about the information.  Alcide pushes until Jackson tells him the room number.  He kicks in the door, but they are gone so he picks up their scent.  Jackson offers to go with him saying, “Sometimes what’s good for the pack isn’t good for the wolf”.  Alcide doesn’t want his help.

Andy is falling asleep in the doorway watching over his only surviving daughter.  Holly comes in and scares him.  His daughter wakes up and asks if he can give her a name.  She also wants to remember her sister so they decide to name them all and hyphenate her name.  He thinks up the name Adalyn (that’s how I’m spelling it) from a girl he went to school with.  He decides 1) is a Braelin, 2) definitely a Charlaine (ha ha, the name of the author of the books), and 3) is Danika.  So her name is now Adalyn-Braelin-Charlaine-Danika.

Lafayette is kicking back smoking a joint and bedazzling his wardrobe.  He hears a knock on the door and finds Terry.  Terry wants him to take a key to a safe deposit box he has, but Lafayette isn’t so sure he wants to take it.  He thinks Terry is acting strange even for Terry.  Terry freaks out for a minute and tells Lafayette he thinks they are the kind of friends that can give each other keys.  Lafayette says he has no key for him, but Terry says that’s fine.  He hugs Lafayette and gets teary-eyed and goes on his way.  Lafayette tries to stop him, but Terry is already gone so he calls Arlene to inform her of what happened.  Holly overhears the conversation.  Arlene thinks Terry is going to kill himself because she can feel it in her gut.  She doesn’t know what to do because her life just doesn’t work without that man.  Holly comes up with an idea to get a vampire to glamour Terry to forget all about the war and everything bad that has happened (of course she doesn’t know he killed Patrick.)

Sookie asks Ben when he was born (3532BC) and when he was turned into a vampire (3500BC).  She thinks that is a long time to wait for someone.  He tells her she is special.  She asks him how he thought the relationship would go, was he just going to show up with a blood contract and they would get married?  He promises if they make it through he will tear up the contract for her.  She claims that it won’t change anything.  He confesses he killed Lilith because he despised what she turned him into.  If Sookie will agree to be his it will all be over.  They can live wherever they want and would only need each other’s blood to survive, but she would have to become a vampire.  (At least she could walk in the sun and sun tan.)

Eric is cuffed in a cage.  Burrell comes to see him and comes in laughing.  Eric asks if he’s upset that “I turned your daughter into my daughter).  Burrell gets mad and responds by telling Eric he is going to take revenge, but he’s not going to bring him to the true death quickly.  One of the doctor’s is there and tells Eric they have figured out he is a “never give up, confident type of guy” who won’t admit defeat, so they will show it to him.  They bring Nora in tied to a gurney and inject her with a new vampire disease they have coined as “Hep V”.  She is the first vampire to be tested.  After injecting her they leave them their together.

Lilith finally appears to Bill who tells her he is tired of riddles.  She warns him not to take a tone with her.  She says he disappoints her, but he claims she was the fuck up here.  She chose the wrong fairy to turn.  She tells him the time to act is now, do not come to her again seeking answers.

Martha pulls into a gas station where Sam has Emma.  He made a deal that she could take Emma as long as she doesn’t take her back to Alcide’s pack.  She tells him it’s not her pack anymore and now it will just be her and Emma.  She thanks him for doing the right thing.  He gives Emma and pep talk and tells her goodbye.  She asks if she will ever see him again, but Sam avoids answering her.

Holly’s vampire friend arrives at Chez Bellefleur to glamour Terry into forgetting his past.  (Unfortunately we know he asked his buddy Justin to kill him, so now he won’t remember and be able to stop it.)  The vampire tells him there were no marines, no war.  He’s just a father, a stepfather and a cook.  Terry snaps out of it and looks extremely happy.  He and Arlene cuddle and watch TV.

Jason has already been shipped to vamp camp and is telling all of his new buddies how he stormed the AVL.  Sara walks in and sees him.  Jason says he only knows her from the TV and she asks to be alone to ask the new recruit a few questions before signing off on him.  She asks what the hell he is doing there.  He replies that he’s grabbing her by her “pretty Texas balls” and he will rescue Jessica.  He warns her that if she does anything to hinder him, he will tell Burrell and her new friends about her being a “whore for Christ”.  He thinks the camp is so fucked up that it must have been her idea in the first place.

Burell visits Willa in her VIP room.  She asks him to put her in the general population.  He claims she is there for her safety.  She mocks him saying she’s dead and he’s still overprotective.  He tells her to pray they can fix her and she says now he’s playing god.  She asks if the cure will be given to all of the vampires, but Burrell doesn’t answer.  She wants to be treated like the rest of her kind.  He claims the cure is not playing God, it’s science.  He tells her they are not her kind.  She says they are and says he is just as responsible for it as her maker is.  She tells him she has a friend named Tara who may be able to help her with what she’s going through so if he “cares” about her her, he needs to let her out of solitary.

Alcide finds Nicole and Sam as the gas station.  Sam tells him that he gave Emma back to Martha.  Alcide says he had no right to do that, because she is part of Alcide’s pack.  Sam asks Alcide to listen to himself and how he’s talking, they used to be friends.  He thinks Sam told Nicole where to find the pack, but Sam promises he didn’t.  Nicole tells him she won’t say anything, but Alcide says her word is worth shit.  Sam asks if Alcide is going to kill them, will he go that far?  Alcide’s temper flares and he gets wolf eyes.   (Whatever bitch, Sam can turn into ANYTHING!)  Alcide warns Sam and Nicole to never show their faces in Bon Temps or Shreveport because he won’t protect them.  Jackson shows up and tells Alcide he’s proud of him.

Takahashi infuses Bills blood back in and wakes him up.  The news comes onto the TV with a special report about Governor Burrell teaming with the TruBlood factories to get it back on shelves.  (Oh shit they’re gonna infect it with Hep V).  Bill tells Hiro he wants the last vial of Ben’s blood so he can walk in the day and he locks Takahashi in a cell.  Takahashi exclaims,  “You’re gonna lock me in her like a?” and Bill finishes “Like a human?  Yes I am.”  He gets a fairy glow and says he’s going out for a walk.  Once he’s in the sun he doesn’t burn.

Sara calls Jason into a room full of people on the pretense that it’s his first day and he may be scared and thinking this was a big mistake.  They are including him in the “copulation study”.  He asks exactly what copulating is and she responds bluntly that it’s fucking.  There is a male vampire in the room and Jason asks where the second one is since it takes two to tango.  Sara tells he guards to bring in the girl and of course its Jess.  He tries to stay cool and not react.  Jess asks what she and the other vampire are doing  there.  The other vampire (James) explains they want to watch them have sex.  James says he’s not doing anything so they burn him with UV light.  He says he’s a vampire not a rapist and they zap him again.  Jess says they’ll do it and put on a show for them, but James says she’s a beautiful person and she doesn’t deserve this.  She thinks she does.  Sara continuously hits James with the light.  As they take her away  she tells James her name is Jessica.  (New romance???)

Terry is enjoying at work at Merlotte’s even taking out the trash for Arlene.  Lafayette asks Arlene if he’s better and Arlene says they are great.  While Terry is outside we hear and gunshot.  Big John and Lafayette make it out their first and Lafayette tries to stop Arlene, but she wants to be with Terry.  She holds him and tells him to think of all the happy things they’ve had together.  She sings a lullaby to him, and he goes.  (Lafayette doesn’t keep vamp blood around for emergencies anymore?)

Burrell is in his garden reading scripture.  Bill  walks right in through the guards and bares his fangs.  The guards freak out and start shooting, but the bullets do nothing to Bill.  He makes them turn their guns to each other and kill themselves.  Burrell is about to pee in his pants.  Bill asks about the white room and says Burrell has his daughter in there.  Burrell lies at first and tells Bill a vampire kidnapped his daughter and turned her into a vampire so he has decided to be a martyr for the cause.  The extinction of all the vampires.  Bill tells him that will never happen and attacks.  Burrell says if Bill kills him another person will take his place and Bill rips his head off.   He places it by Burrell’s statue.

Eric is trying to comfort Nora by telling her to be strong.  You can see the blood in her veins darkening.  She says she ‘s not afraid because she will be able to look into Godric’s blue eyes again.  Eric promises to get her out of there.  In the woman’s gen popTara and Willa are playing Connect 4 and Willa feels sick.  Tara says Eric is summoning her.  She tells her how to glamour, but she says they have the contacts in.  Tara says rip them right out and keep moving.  The doctor checking Nora gets knocked out by the glamoured guard.  Willa goes to eat the doctor, but Eric says he needs the coat so take it off her before.  The guard unlocks the cage and cuffs for Eric.  Eric is dressed as the guard and Nora has the lab coat.  Nora is getting weaker.  Eric wants to get Pam and Willa says they need to get Pam and Jess as well.  They get inside, Eric goes into a room where they are bottling trueblood and mixing in the hepatitis V. (I love when Eric plays human, Fantastico, fuck me)

Sookie confides in Ben that the town calls her a danger whore.  She has feelings for Ben that she doesn’t want and decides maybe she should just start accepting herself.  She lets him feed from her, then she bites and feeds from him and starts taking off his pants and her clothes.  Really, this has to be a dream or (Damn she’s ripped after having those babies!)  They have glow sex.  End credits…

Okay Sookie, you’ve now slept with 3 guys in the space of a few weeks.  Not sure you’re just being accused of being a “danger whore”.  I’m so upset about Terry!

Until next week, Bon Chance!

Ep 6.7 "In the Evening"

SPOILER ALERT:  This is a recap of the episode, so if you haven’t watched it and don’t want to know what happens, exit now…  Also, the style of this blog is written scene by scene to keep the same artistic narrative as the show (with a few exceptions).

QUICK LOOK:  The Bellefleur’s try to manage their pain, as does Eric.  Billith works on saving the vampires and Jason gets more than he bargained for.

The end of the last episode was very hard for me, and not just because I had to watch Sookie and Ben have kinky fairy sex.  I read rumors that at least one main character would die this season.  It had been rumored that it would be a vampire and would be Eric.  I am relieved that Eric did not bite the dust (at least not yet), but even though they gave us clues for the last few episodes I was prepared and surprised at Terry’s passing.  A moment of silence for Terry Bellefleur, one of my favorite characters from the books and the show.  The loss feels even harder because even though he wasn’t without sin, he was pretty damn close and was genuinely a nice guy.

Still in mid-breakout, Eric is watching the bottlers put Hep-V in the TruBlood supply.  He tells Willa to get back into general population and tell Pam, Tara, and Jessica not to drink the Trublood they are handing out.  He promises to come back for them, but for now he must get Nora out of there.  One of the guards finds the dead doctor and glamored guard in Eric’s cage.  He tips off the rest of the compound, which causes a distraction that helps Jason break out of the group so he can find Jessica.  Eric and Nora hide under a delivery truck, but a guard stops it before it drives off and uses a mirror to look under the truck.  The guard catches a glimpse of Eric’s face, but before he can do anything Eric pulls him under and imitating the guards voice, tells the driver it’s okay to go.  Eric hangs on to the guard until they are safely out of the building, then drops him and holds Nora closely.

Pam has been put in solitary as a reward for helping the shrink.  Willa finds her in her room doing yoga.  Pam is appalled that Eric sent Willa to save her.  Willa asks her to keep her sarcasm down or the guards will hear and passes the message on about the contaminated TruBlood.  Pam wants to know why and Willa explains it has been contaminated with Hep-V, which is some new disease that the doctors injected Nora with.  Eric has taken her from the compound to try and save her.  Pam cautions Willa not to tell any of the other vampires other than Tara or Jessica about the blood because the guards will know something is up if all of the vamps stop drinking the rations.  Willa offers to use the lady doctor’s severed hand to get Pam out of solitary, but she tells her she is fine there for now.  Willa sneaks back in to gen pop throwing the jacket and arm in a trash receptacle before the gate closes.

Eric arrives at Bill’s house with Nora.  He begs Bill to let Nora drink his blood to see if it will heal her.  Nora protests.  She doesn’t want any of Lilith’s blood and would rather die. Eric yells at Bill to do it, but Bill says it is her dying wish and he can’t take that from her.  Eric asks Bill to leave them alone.

Sara is practicing her “elocution classes for teaching the gospel” as she arrives at the Governer’s house.  She is suspicious, noticing the absence of the guards.  She finds Truman’s severed head declaring he was a decent man whose death will not be in vain and she kisses him.  (YUCK!)  She proclaims that his death was part of God’s plan and “God is good”.  (Well, God may be Bill…)  The senator from season 1 (Lafayette’s “good friend”) arrives at Sara’s beckon call.  She wants to stay the course with Truman’s plan.  The senator reminds her that the person who will become Lieutenant Governor is a vampire sympathizer and he doesn’t see Burrell’s vision coming to light.  She reveals that her plan is to cover up the Governor’s death for a few days until they can get the contaminated TruBlood on the store shelves.  They will tell the press that the compound was attacked, but the Governor got away and is at another facility.  She knows the Sentator has “fixers” because of his sinful lifestyle and she proposes he cover in the legislature while she will be Burrell’s presence at camp and take care of all vampire issues.  The Senator is impressed with Sara, and she declares that when God’s message is clear she is a truly unstoppable woman.

Ben and Sookie are all cuddles in the sunny fairy plain.  They talk and joke.  He assumes she is accepting his proposal because she gave herself to him.  They have a joking tiff about women’s rights, but Sookie hears someone crying.  It’s Arlene, who is at the cemetery crying on Terry’s fresh grave. Sookie tells Ben she has to go comfort her friend, but promises to come back for him.  Arlene tells Sookie that Terry was shot.  (Do we not get a short funeral to say goodbye? I mean he’s been here since the beginning of the show.  It just feels wrong.)  Arlene explains how she had the vamp glamour Terry and how happy he had been the day he died.  She doesn’t know how she is going to tell her kids that Terry is dead.  Sookie reminds Arlene that she is tough and she can get through this because her children will need her to.

Sam calls Lafayette from a pay phone to see how things are going.  Lafayette tells Sam about Terry and he is speechless.  He decides he must go back to Bon Temps for Terry and his friends.  He suggests Nicole have her mother come pick her up.

Arlene returns home and asks Holly how are kids are.  Holly says they are okay, but they know something is going on.  When Arlene walks in she notices Lafayette and goes off on him.  She demands to know what else Terry told him and what is in the box.  She calls him a liar and a voodoo queer.  Andy takes her in another room to calm her down while Sookie and Lafayette go see what is stored in the box.  Lafayette jokes that “maybe this time yo ass will be kicked”.  They go to the bank and open the safe deposit box finding a life insurance policy Terry had issued three days before.  They realize he planned whatever happened to him and now they have to go share the news with the family.

At the compound, Jason gets Jessica alone.  He says he’s there to help her, but she tells him he doesn’t have to do that for her.  He says his heart is clear and he wants to do right by her.  She keeps refusing and says she belongs there so Jason wonders if she has Stockholm syndrome.  She reveals to him that she knows what is going to happen and she is okay with that.  He confesses he was in the room earlier when they were going to force her and the other vamp to have sex.  She explains that he can’t stop bad things from happening to her.  She wants him to go on being the sweet loveable man that he is.  She requests his help so she can find James and thank him face to face.

Before Nicole’s mom picks her up, she gets in the shower with Sam and they say goodbye.  She promises never to forget Sam or to tell anyone about the shifters or weres.  She also gives him her phone number in case they want to see each other again under different circumstances.

Jason brings James into a conference room where Jessica is waiting.  Jess asks Jason for some privacy.  She confides in James that until she met him she thought all vamps were monsters and wonders why he didn’t give in to the guards and have sex with her.  He doesn’t believe that becoming a vampire forfits your soul.  He tries to do what he thinks is right.  As punishment for not succumbing to their rules, the campers pulled one of his fangs.  Jess gives him a gift in return by warning him about the contaminated TruBlood.  He claims he feels like a fool because he never really believed he would live for an eternity, but now that death is so close he wishes there were things he could do before he dies.  She tells him that she really wants to make love to him.  She has never had sex with a vampire before and would like to do so with him because she likes the humanity within him and wants to feel it.  (Poor Jason, having to stand guard outside while your girl is getting it on in the conference room.)

Eric finds Bill leaving the house during the day and wonders how he can day walk.  Bill says he will have to tell Eric later, but right now he needs to find Warlow.  Eric declares he will do anything Bill asks if he will give Nora his blood.  It was the last place he wanted to go, but he was desperate.  Bill had a stake through his heart and survived.  Eric even stoops by telling Bill he believes he is divine.  Bill confides in Eric his visions of the future and asks Eric about the white room.  Bill insists he must go get Warlow, but Eric says he doesn’t care about Warlow.  (Of course, he has no idea who or what Warlow is exactly.)  Bill explains that drinking Warlow’s blood has allowed him to walk in the sun, not Lilith’s and that one way or another Eric will end up in the white room when the roof opens.  Eric agrees to help Bill with whatever he wants once he gives Nora his blood.  Bill concedes and let’s Nora drink from him.  Eric explains to Nora that he had to do something to try and save her and she says she understands.  She doesn’t feel any different after drinking Bill’s blood so Eric thinks Warlow’s blood may help.  Nora doesn’t believe it will, but Eric demands that Bill go get him.  He turns away and Bill and Nora exchange a look mentally with her saying, “Please take care of Eric” and Bill responding “I will”.  (At least that’s what I thought it was about.)

After retrieving the insurance policy from Terry’s safety deposit box, Lafayette and Sookie go back to the Bellefleur house.  Andy intercepts them telling them now is not the best time to talk with Arlene.  She is drunk.  Actually she had to be more than drunk because she was flying pretty high.  Lafayette distracts her by taking her into the kitchen and putting together an old family recipe guaranteed to help her not feel anything.  Adalyn is in the room and Sookie picks up on her fairy vibe.  They have a short telepathic fairy conversation, but Bill arrives.  Sookie responds to his walking in the daylight by saying “Holy fuck”, which is probably what I would’ve said as well.  Andy tells everyone to leave the room.  Bill gives his regrets to Arlene about Terry, but she thinks she is so wasted that she is imagining him there until she feels him with her hands.  Her response is “Fuck me”.  (So no one seems too thrilled about his vampire day-walking thing.  Does Bill intend to share this secret with all vampires, or only a select few?)  Bill expresses his sorrow for Andy’s loss and says he knows there is no greater pain in the world than losing a child.  He lost one of his children when he was human.  He sympathizes with Andy by saying he knows Andy is protective of his children, but says he is protective of Jessica.  Andy reluctantly (and without much choice) shakes Bill’s hand in a sort of truce.  In the corner, Lafayette asks Sookie how in the world Bill can walk in the daytime.  She responds that all she has time to think about today is Arlene and her kids.  Bill approaches her and asks if they can speak.  Lafayette leaves the room saying, “I’m so fucking glad I took my beta blockers today, deuces.”  Bill reveals that Tara, Pam and Jessica are being held at a vampire death camp and are in trouble.  He needs Warlow to save them and imparts on her if she doesn’t help there will be blood on both of their hands.  (He seems to be blaming her for the fairy girl’s deaths as well.)

Pam gets escorted to another therapy session.  She confesses to the doctor that she is not hungry for blood, but instead is horny.  She explains that she has a high sex drive from her time as a human prostitute.  He questions her about her sexual desires (and creepily gets enticed by them) and she bargains getting into the general population by having sex with him.  Sara corners Jason and tells him the Governer is dead and his leverage over her is gone.  She orders a guard to cut his wrist and throws him in the female vampire general population where there are plenty of hungry female vampires.  As all the women go crazy Tara comes to his rescue, but the dominant vamp that’s been watching Tara claims Jason is hers.

Alcide takes Jackson back to his camper in Jackson.  Papa Herveaux tries to talk his son into staying there with him and not rejoining the pack.  He doesn’t think the Herveaux men are cut out for pack life and one day Alcide will realize it.  When Alcide gets back to the pack in Shreveport he tells them Nicole and Sam are dead, but Rikki knows he is lying because the pack abducted Nicole and her mother.  The pack is pissed that Alcide has lied to them and he is up the creek without a paddle.

While Bill is out Eric pleads with Godric to save Nora.  Godric doesn’t answer, but Nora recalls how Eric found her so long ago when she was dying of the plague.  Eric asked Godric to make her a vampire.  We get a flashback of London in 1665 (I love Alexander Skarsgard, but he needs to work on his British accent).  Nora is a favorite mistress to the King who asks Eric to go fetch her from the depths of the sick houses and bring her back to safety.  By the time Eric finds her she has already contracted the plague.  He tells her the King tasked him with taking her back to London, but she exclaims that her death will be her own.  Eric believes she is courageous and Nora tells him he has a look of destiny about him.  He promises that his father can heal her fully and she will live forever.  Back in the present he says he promised her she would live forever, but she reminds him that she only asked to live fully and he gave her that.  He holds her as she turns into vampire goo and once she is gone he breaks down.  He looks in the doorway and sees Bill standing there and Eric doesn’t look too happy.

End credits…

So as I asked earlier, why didn’t we get some kind of funeral or dedication to Terry?  He was already in the ground so it seemed to me that it had already occurred or there wasn’t one. Arlene’s kids had no idea what was going on until she told them later.  Will Sookie hand Warlow over to Bill to save her friends?  Will she be upset when she finds out what Warlow did to Niall?  Is Eric going to retreat in darkness and blame Bill for Nora’s death?  And what will happen to poor Alcide?  He made it a few days longer than JD, but after that great speech he gave the pack last season he didn’t seem to enforce his vision on them.  I think he can handle his own, but I have a feeling Sam will show up to help.

Until next week, Bon Chance!

6.5 "Fuck the Pain Away"

SPOILER ALERT:  This is a recap of the episode, so if you haven’t watched it and don’t want to know what happens, exit now…

QUICK LOOK:  Almost every vamp we love is at Camp Truman, Warlow meets his maker, and Sookie finds out what really happened the night her parents died.

So, Ben and Sookie are still in foreplay mode on the sofa.  Sookie tells him “get the fuck off me or die Warlow” and says she has a really big vampire killing light ball so he better do what she says.  He immediately goes into his British accent (I didn’t know people in 3500 BC had a British accent) and tells her she doesn’t understand.  She is his intended, he waited a millennium for her and he loves her.  She asks why he killed her parents.  He claims that her parents were planning to kill her that night and he saved her.  She doesn’t believe him and blasts him with a fairy fireball.  Across the cemetery at Bill’s house Jess is high as a kite and overcome with guilt.  Bill hugs her and tries to comfort her until she puts the moves on him.  He stops her and tells her she’s high.  Then, Bill feels Warlow’s pain from Sookie’s fireball (because he’s Lilith and Warlow is her progeny).  Bill rushes over to Sookie’s and finds her in her underwear mid-fight.  Ben threatens to kill Bill because he broke Sookie’s heart (aww, how chivalrous) until Bill tells him Ben already killed him once.  As his maker (and totally surprising to Ben) he commands Ben to come with him.

While Bill is gone, Andy shows up at his house armed and ready.  The front door has been left open.  When he gets inside he sees his little girl’s dead and strewn across the living room floor.  He checks to see if they’re alive.  Jess sneaks out and Andy hears one of his girls gasping for breath.  He tells her “Daddy will make it okay” and takes her away from the house.  He brings her to the police station and gets a vial of vampire blood out of the evidence room and gets her to drink it.

Eric shows up to meet Pam and Tara.  Tara tells him that the LAVTF just caught Pam.  Eric follows to where they snatched her and he and Tara give themselves up to the LAVTF.  Pam has been escorted to Camp Truman and sees they are doing everything from de-fanging vampires to watching them have sex “all in the name of science”.

Burrell has had his men take Willa away to Camp Truman.  Sara tries to appeal to him explaining Willa is no longer his little girl.  Vampires took away her sister and her ex husband.  Then she decides this is the perfect time to tell him she wants to have his baby, but she needs a ring on her finger first.  He tells Sara that no one can replace Willa and this is not the time to be having that conversation.  (Seriously, even though I’m not on his side, his daughter was just turned into a vampire and attacked him pick your moment’s lady.  This isn’t it…)  He leaves to escort Willa to camp while Sara tells him you don’t turn down a woman who came to you in black lingerie.

Bill and Ben are back at Bill’s.  Ben wants to know how Bill is able to control him.  Bill explains he drank Lilith’s blood so he is now also Lilith and she has shown him memories of what Ben did to her.  Bill commands him to resist the urge to kill him, draws blood from him and tells him not to try and leave the house.  Flashback to 3500BC:  A loin clothed and badly wigged Ben leaves his village to go to the river to get water.  Naked Lilith (does this chick ever wear clothes) comes up to him and wants to know what he is.  They have 3-second sex and she informs him that God spoke to her of a creature like him.  He is destined to save the vampires.  Ben tells Billith she made him into something he despises.  Billith declares Ben is the vampire’s salvation.

After being turned away by Burrell, Sara goes to visit Jason.  I literally yelled at him to run like hell, but of course he couldn’t hear me.  He is a little apprehensive at first.  The last time they saw each other she shot him with a paint ball gun.  She tells him she is different now and she wants to save his soul.  She believes she was supposed to help him see God’s light, but she ran at the first sign of trouble.  He tells her he’s not the same dumb kid he was at Fellowship camp, but she convinces him they have a connection.  She wants to be with him again and tells him God told her to fuck him.  Like, literally those exact words.  Jason, never letting a sexual opportunity pass, sleeps with her.

Alcide and Jackson are at some backwoods establishment called “The Unfriendly Possum”.  The name is pretty fitting for the wolves hanging out inside.  Alcide talks to a seasoned prostitute and asks if she’s seen a shifter who is traveling with a light-skinned woman and a little girl.  She claims she hasn’t seen anyone like that and blows him off saying she needs to get back to work.  Next he goes up to a large man sitting near Jackson at the bar.  He doesn’t even get to ask the guy anything before the stranger tells him to go fuck himself.  Jackson explains that country wolves don’t trust city wolves.  Then he tries to give some fatherly advice by asking if he’s doing all of this because it’s the right thing to do or for “that piece of ass that has taken over your life?” (aka Rikki; really, what is up with Alcide and crazy women?)  Alcide throws him on the floor and tells Jackson not to question his packmaster.  Jackson reminds him that he never joined Alcide’s pack.  Alcide tells him to get out of his life and Jackson asks for some traveling money, which Alcides tosses out into the air.

Eric and Tara arrive at Camp Truman.  He tells her to find Pam.  Eric is put into a white room with three other vampires.  Suddenly, three rubber balls fall from the ceiling.  Eric and two others grab the balls, the vamp left with his hands empty gets shot.  This goes on until Eric is the first to grab a gun and shoot (but not kill) the only other vampire.  I’m guessing this is some sort of testing to see which vampires are the strongest and oldest.  They could’ve just asked though…  Afterwards, Eric is put in a rec-room type area with other male vampires.  He asks if anyone has seen Pam, but they all scatter and say nothing leaving him a table to himself.

Jason wakes up to Jess beating on his door.  Sara is asleep in his bedroom.  (Shit, this isn’t good.)  She is upset and tells him she did an unspeakable thing and she doesn’t know why God doesn’t just strike her down.  She rambles for a moment until he tells her he is having a hard time keeping up.  She asks if he ever loved her and if so what was it he loved about her.  He says he did love her, mostly for her heart, but everything with Hoyt just made it so complicated.  Jess confesses she is scared that Bill may be the devil and is paranoid, especially since she is high on fairy blood.  Sara comes out into the living room and gets pissed that Jason has a vampire girlfriend he neglected to tell her about.  Jess realizes she is “Steve Newlin’s ex-wife”, which enrages Sara even more.  She is her own person, after all (she claims).  Sara calls Jessica a demon whore causing Jess to grab her and pin her down.  Sara stands up to her quoting the bible before rescinding Jessica’s invitation into Jason’s house.  Um, how did she do that?  You have to be the owner of the house…  Jason tries to stop her, but as soon as Jess gets outside there are lights shined in her eyes.  It’s the LAVTF (who Sara called).  They take Jessica as Jason tries to stop them.  Sara tells him her body is a temple and he defiled it with his “vampire-loving pecker” while storming out of the house.

Back at camp, Pam is forced into a therapy session.  Basically if she doesn’t want to be studied her other option is to get shot by the hidden guards.  She decides to lie down on the couch, but then jumps up because she’s worried it’s a therapy session.  She doesn’t want to talk about her feelings (especially since she’s feeling vulnerable about her relationship with Eric right now).  She asks if she can be transferred to the “fuck room” because she’d much rather have sex with someone.  Unfortunately, the “fuck room” is only for level 3 patients and she is only a level one, so they are interested in her intellectually.  The doctor will ask her a series of questions and if he believes her answers she will be able to feed from the LDP (Living Donor Program).  If she doesn’t cooperate she gets a ration of watered down TrueBlood.  She prefers a donor and specifies she wants a female.  The doctor wants to know what value she places on human life.  She tells it like it is in true Pam style, it depends on the human, but most she couldn’t give a damn about.  He believes her so she get’s one short feeding from the donor.

Sookie visits Merlotte’s.  Lafayette asks what she is doing at her place of work, because he knows she’s not actually there to work.  (A little cast joke about the fact that Sookie never seems to actually work on the show.)  They go into Sam’s office to talk and she tells him about Warlow.  She explains what happened and how Ben/Warlow said he loved her.  She felt like he really believed he did love her.  Lafayette tells her she has the messed up talent of seeing the good in every creature she meets and she shouldn’t buy what Ben is selling.  She tells Lafayette she needs to find her way back to the truth and she needs his help.

At a booth in Merlotte’s, Terry is talking to an old marine buddy of his named Justin.  He wonders why Terry all of a sudden looked him up since they haven’t seen each other in years.  Terry confesses that he killed Patrick.  He wants to know if Justin is still a good shooter and if he will kill Terry.  Terry will pay him.  Terry explains that he tried to kill himself, but he couldn’t do it.  He believes he deserves to die.  Arlene walks up and introduces herself.  I guess she is suspicious because Terry has been acting strange lately.  Once she’s gone Justin asks if she knows about Patrick.  Terry says she does and she is pushing him to go on like nothing happened, but he can’t do that.  Justin says he will kill Terry for free. (WTF?)  Terry asks for a few days to get his affairs in order, but he doesn’t want to know when the bullet is coming.

Andy is at home watching his daughter sleep.  Holly is there, trying to comfort him.  Andy says the girl told him Jess was the one who attacked her and her sisters.  Holly is surprised because Jess is such a nice vampire.  She thinks maybe it was a terrible accident.  Andy also tells her that his daughter said Bill was taking their blood and performing experiments.  He grabs his gun to go after Bill, but Holly stops him.  She pleas with him saying Bill is much stronger and will kill Andy and then his daughter will have no one.  Holly calls off the search and they decide to tell everyone the other girls went to live with their mother.  Andy declares he can’t just sit back and not do anything and Holly tells him she will help him get through this.

Jess is put into the women’s quarters at camp and finds Tara.  She tells her how she ate the four fairy girls and she is totally fucked up.  She asks if Tara believes in the devil.  She says she doesn’t, but her mother sure did.  Jess wonders if vampires are bad and realizes she killed the fairy girls because she wanted too.  She realizes the hunger inside her will never go away.  Hmm, could she be the vampire that dies this season?  She gives herself up for a higher cause?  Their daily ration of watered down TrueBlood is being doled out.  Jessica gives hers to Tara saying she can’t eat it.  Suddenly all the females are ready to attack Jess, but Tara blocks her ready to fight.  Then, a vampire woman comes up and makes all the other vampires spread out.  She asks what is wrong with Jessica and Tara tells her Jessica is fine.  The woman says she guesses they owe her then.  (Who is this new vampire chick?)  Later, Tara sees Willa being escorted through the camp.  She calls to her, but the guard tells Tara she is a VIP so she gets her own special room.  Once the guard gets Willa to her cell he tells her he has an arrangement with some of the female vamps in the camp.  He offers to scratch her back if she’ll lift his balls (yuck).

In the doctor’s office, Pam tells him that vampires don’t form special bonds.  She says she personally feels no remorse for killing other vampires.  The doctor starts to talk about her maker.  She tells him her maker released her so they no longer have a special bond.  He doesn’t believe she’s not upset about it, but she tells him humans are special in their love for pain.  Humans consider it a virtue.  Their lives are pathetically brief, but vampires are immortal so when they say forever it is forever, so pain is a worthless emotion.  She confesses that at one time her maker was everything to her, then he released her and it did hurt.  However, now she is over it and he is nothing to her.  The doctor tells her he doesn’t believe her and she says it’s a good thing she’s already stuffed from the donor.

Nicole and Sam wake up from their night of grief sex.  She is acting all weird and he asks if she is okay.  She tells him she always wondered what it would be like to live like a shifter.  Now she knows, and its horrible having to hide who you are and being on the run.  Emma wakes up.  While Sam is attending to Emma, Nicole makes a call from the payphone.  Sam catches her and hangs it up.  She wanted to let her parents know she wasn’t dead.  Sam says it’s better that they do think so.  She gets mad and they argue.  Across the courtyard someone hears them fighting, Jackson Herveaux (who spent the night with the were-hooker, so we know where Alcide’s money went).

As Jason leaves Sookie a voicemail telling her he messed up and he has to fix it (presuming Jess), Sookie and Lafayette are getting prepared to summon Sookie’s parents.  He asks the spirits to help him find Corbitt and Michelle Stackhouse.  He can’t get them at first and tells Sookie that “some folks just want to stay dead”.  Then they show up.  Lafayette tells them to calm the fuck down.  Sookie tells her parents that Warlow is there and asks if they tried to kill her the night they died.   The spirits of her parents are so upset that Lafayette can’t understand what they are trying to say, so Sookie grabs his arm and hears her father.  There is a flashback showing Warlow visiting Sookie’s parents.  He tells them she is a fairy and she is very special.  He also shows them the contract promising Sookie will be his.  They tell him he cannot have her.  They will not let him turn her into a vampire.  Her dad tells Warlow to leave, but Warlow promises to come back for her when she is of age.  Corbitt’s spirit enters Lafayette and Sookie asks how he could kill his own daughter.  He says he was going to do it because he loved her and didn’t want her to be made into a vampire.  She argues with him and he comes to the conclusion that she must be falling for Ben so he needs to kill her.  He grabs her and puts her in the trunk of Lafayette’s car.  She tries appealing to Lafayette, but Corbitt tells her Lafayette can’t hear her.

Bill goes to check on Ben and finds that he has Takahashi hostage.  He threatens to kill him.  Flashback to 3946BC:  Ben goes back to his village to see his parents.  Billith says she told him not to go back, but he wouldn’t listen.  He see’s his parent’s, who are happy to see him.  As soon as they hug him he gets the urge to kill them and slaughters the entire village, except for little Niall.  Billith tells him he is destined for great things, but Ben says he wants the vampires to be extinct.  We see a vision of him burning Lilith in a cave as it said in the vampire bible.

Sara brings Burrell to the camp and tells him she is sorry that she got mad at him and she has a surprise for him.  They go into a room where Steve is waiting with some other people.  Burrell wonders how Sara’s ex husband is a surprise and Sara tells him there is more to come.  They are in a room with a two-way mirror and Eric is brought into the other room.  Burrell tells Eric that Willa came home and asks if Eric knows how Willa became a vampire.  Eric replies, “um, fuck you”.  Burrell reveals he banned Willa to the camp.  Eric is surprised that he locked up his own daughter, but Burrell says nothing can change his convitions.  Sara opens a door and there is a wooden stake waiting there for Eric to grab and he tells Burrell to send him someone to kill.  Another door opens and Pam comes out holding a stake.  Sara explains to Burrell that Pam is Eric’s progeny, thanks to Steve filling her in with the intel.  Sara demands that Eric and Pam fight like gladiators and Pam and Eric look at each other.

Lafayette (possessed by Corbitt) stops the car.  He opens the trunk and Sookie kicks him, but she can’t overcome him.  She tries to fight him as he drags her down to the river.  He starts to drown her.

End credits…

There were some crazy moments tonight!  First, a moment of silence for the three fae girls who died.  Poor Andy.  I’m guessing this is going to change his view on vampires.  In the previews, it looks like Jason is trying to join the LAVTF in order to find Jessica.  I don’t think he knows yet that the unspeakable thing she did was kill Andy’s (Jason’s partners) daughters.  Sara is still just as batshit crazy as she ever was and Steve Newlin will do anything to save himself.  Too bad he hasn’t figured out it won’t do anything to change his fate over the long run.  Sookie didn’t get any good news.  It has to suck finding out your parents tried to kill you and by possession are trying to kill you again.  Remember: never meet with a medium by yourself.  That way if they do the Whoopi Goldberg thing from ghost you’ve got someone there to watch your back.  How will Eric and Pam get out of this debacle?  It’s obvious that Eric still cares for Pam, she has misunderstood why he has done what he has.  She also still cares for him, so I don’t think they would ever really kill each other.  Hopefully they can play off each other’s instincts.

Until next week, bon chance!

Ep 6.4 "At Last"

-->

SPOILER ALERT:  This is a recap of the episode, so if you haven’t watched it and don’t want to know what happens, exit now…

We come back in where Niall and Ben went outside after Warlow and Jason collapses.  Ben drags Jason inside.  He barely has a pulse so Sookie decides to call 911 in another room.  Ben looks at Jason kind of funny while he is alone with him then bites his wrist and feeds Jason his blood.  He is a vampire!  (Fuck yeah, I told Sookie not to trust him!!!)  So is he a vampire-fairy, fairy-vampire, Warlow in disguise?  Meanwhile, Niall catches up to Nora.  He asks how she knows about Warlow and she asks if he’s heard of Lilith.  She tells him Lilith is the first vampire and Warlow is her progeny.  For Lilith to die Warlow has to kill her as he did before according to the vampire bible.  She’s overcome by his fairy scent so he blasts her into the trees.  She lands next to a group of the LAVTF (Louisiana Vampire Task Force) who take her away as Niall watches.  Inside, Sookie comes back in the living room and Jason is fine.  Ben says he just woke up and must have just bumped his head.  Niall comes back in and scolds Ben for leaving to save Jason instead of catching Nora.  He claims Sookie is the key to the fae existence, not her human brother.  Sookie defends his actions saying she thought Jason was dying.  Ben apologizes to Naill and decides he should leave.  Sookie is concerned that he doesn’t have a place to stay but he says he does.

The Schreveport pack finished off all of the VUS (Vampire Unity Society) members, except Nicole who got away.  They realize she is missing.  Martha comes screaming from the house that Sam took Emma.  Alcide (who apparently lost his grammar skills since becoming packmaster) tells the pack “Emma got took”.  Rikki thinks they should have killed Sam when they had the chance.  I’m really hating her, she is pretty much the “number one bitch” in my book right now.  The pack goes on the hunt for all three.  Jackson Herveaux stands in the background listening.  I’m thinking he feels the same way I do with the look he had on his face.  Sam and Emma are still running through the woods.  Sam is carrying Nicole.  She tells him to leave her, but he won’t.  They reach a clearing and Lafayette backs his car up to get them.  He asks what Nicole is doing there.  Sam tells him to get the hell out of there and Lafayette says “you don’t’ have to tell me twice”.

Ginger, oh poor Ginger.  She is still on the phone with Burrell claiming Eric is having trouble untying the knot on Willa’s restraints.  Then a haze comes into the house and the governor’s men break down the door.  Classic Ginger starts screaming non-stop, finally causing Burrell to tell her to shut up (you gotta love that scream though).  He asks where Eric is and she continues telling him through the phone that Eric is almost through with the knot.  Poor “glamour girl” has lost her mind.  Burrell sends her to camp.  He tells his men to get the choppers up and watch the sky as the “peckerwood” will try to fly out of there.

Pam summons Tara who emerges from the sewers.  She and Eric ask where Willa is.  Tara claims they will never find her.  Pam starts the “as your maker” line, but Eric is not putting up with the bullshit.  He throws Tara down and says she will answer him.  Pam gets territorial and Eric tells her to stay out of it (aw, Eric and Pam no more?).  Tara finally tells him that Willa is at the fairground off I-20.  Eric tells Pam he will meet up with them the next night.

Terry is watching the news with Andy’s four fairy-tweens.  It looks like they are playing princess/heiress dress up tea party.  They know he is sad about Patrick from reading his mind and they also know that Terry shot him.  They laugh about it and Terry calls Arlene for backup.  Arlene explains that Terry has an active imagination and that it’s not nice to listen in on people’s thoughts.  Andy hears the raucous and comes in.  He tells the girls to go to bed since they haven’t slept since they were three (which I’m assuming was 1-2 days ago).   Arlene tries to comfort Terry telling him no one would believe them, but he still feels guilty.  It has to be hard living with the Sherriff when you’ve murdered someone.  The four fairies are sharing a bed like the grandparents in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  They turn the light off and start to grow again.  They are now teenagers with boobs and decide to make the most of it before they grow older.  They plan to go party after they raid Aunt Arlene’s closet.  Jess and Bill are staked outside the Bellefleur house.  They are confused when they see teenage girls walk out, but really only care that they are fairies.   The fairy-teens take Andy’s police car for a beer run and Jess and Bill follow.

The fae teens show up at a liquor store.  Bill gets out to go inside, but Jess stops him.  She is scared that he is struggling with Lilith on the inside and she doesn’t want to see the girls get hurt.  The fairies try to buy a case of beer, but the cashier asks for the ID.  They say they are in their twenties and forgot their ID.  Creepy cashier guy tells them he can tell their age by an anatomical fact that he will gladly show them in the back.  Luckily Jess comes to the rescue and buys the beer.  She glamours the clerk into forgetting he saw them.  They think she’s totally cool.  She tries to bond with them by saying it’s cool that they have no names and asks them if they want to go party at her house.  They are wary because she smells different and she tells them she is a vampire, but she has tons of fairy friends and can control herself.  They decide to trust her.  They get outside and meet Bill.  Jess asks if they should do something with the cop car but Bill says to leave it.

Jason is doing pull ups in the doorway (he is at around 241) and Sookie is confused since he was feeling horrible earlier.  She goes downstairs to straighten up and finds drops of blood.  She does the Niall blood thing to it and it lights up pink so she knows something isn’t quite right.  Later Jason has a dream about shaving Ben.  God I love this show!  It knows when it gets weird, but it’s not afraid to go with it.  Jason has never shaved anyone else before.  Ben tells him to relax and do it like he was doing it to himself.  He cuts Ben and Ben tells him to lick the blood off of his neck.  Jason wakes up and freaks out at his semi homo-neurotic dream and checks under the sheets.

Over at Bills, one of the fairy teens goes into Bill’s office and flirts with him.  He puts some contraption on her that will take some of her blood and explains how vampires rely on blood.  He tells her to go back with the others, but she wants to stay with him.  Bill takes the blood to Takahashi, who is not happy that he is locked up in a lab.  Bill wants him to map the genetic code of the fae blood like he did with the synthesized blood. He needs him to replicate and synthesize it. Hiro asks where he got it from and Bill says “let’s not go down that road”, so Hiro asks what happens if he fails.  Bill tells him “failure is not an option”, and leaves Hiro to his work.

Eric finds Willa at the fairground.  He wonders why she’s still there and she says she knew he would come and wanted to talk to him.  She tells Eric she is on his side and that she despises what her father has done.  She wants to know why Eric wouldn’t let her taste his blood because she thinks she deserves it.  He asks if she really wants to help him and she says she does.  He smiles that Eric smile, flies her somewhere and digs a hole.  Eric takes off is shirt for her to lie on.  At first she thinks it’s because they are going to have sex and she tells him she is” pretty much a virgin”, but he is going to make Willa a vampire.  (Lucky, lucky girl.  So jealous.)  She asks if it’s going to hurt and he says “not the way I do it.”  He tells her she deserves to be one of them and stabs his neck with her cross so she can drink his blood.  The next night Willa drinks from a donor, who Eric tips generously.  She is ecstatic to be a vampire and wants to know what they will do next.  She is disappointed when Eric tells her to go home to her father.  She is livid that he changed her to get back at her father.  He tells her he changed her so she could prove to her father that vampires are not monsters.  He’s lived a thousand years and she is the second vampire he has ever made.  He didn’t come to the decision lightly.  He’s pretty picky so she should be happy.  Pam and Tara are looking for a place to stay.  They get into an argument and Tara leaves.  Pam gets caught by the LAVTF.

Sam makes a pit stop to get Nicole bandaged up.  She is trying to reach her friends on the phone, but is not having any luck.  Sam tells her she can’t be texting people because they don’t know who is really on the other line and she finally realizes that her friends are dead. She wants to split off from them so she doesn’t slow them down, but they need to get her to a hospital.  Sam tells Lafayette to go while he changes into a horse to carry Nicole to the hospital.  The wolves catch up to where Sam was stopped and find a fresh bandage.  Rikki starts to tell the pack to fan out when Alcide alpha’s her and orders the pack to go back to Martha’s and make sure they swept everything.  He says he and Jackson will go north to look for Sam.

Sookie visits Ben’s hotel to thank him for what he did for Jason and to invite him for a home-cooked meal.  She leaves Jason a message saying she wants the house to herself for a little while that night.  She gets all dolled up in some sexy lingerie and cooks dinner with a bottle of colloidal silver on the kitchen table.

Niall and Jason get some breakfast time together to talk about philosophy and dreams.  Niall looks in Jason’s head and sees the dream with Ben and Jason shaving each other.  Jason says he’s only had dreams like that when he had vampire blood, but he hasn’t had any.  Niall realizes that at some point in history someone turned a fairy into a vampire, and that Ben is a “faepire” (at least that’s what I’m going to call it) who can walk in the daylight.
They break into his hotel room when they think he is taking a shower.  Niall prepares his ball of light and Jason throws back the shower curtain, but Ben is not there.  He comes out from the other direction and knocks Niall out.  He then glamours Jason (with a British accent) to forget what happened.  He tells him to go to work and complete his normal duties and not to come by Sookie’s house that night. Jason asks what will happen to Niall and Ben tells him if he wants to say goodbye, now would be the time.  Jason leans down and says “sorry grandpa, we tried”.  Ben tells him to leave and the burden will be lifted from him then he starts to suck out Nialls blood and spit it into the tub.

Andy puts out an APB on his girls with the description:  4 caucasian females, between 4 and 7 feet tall, between 60 and 260lbs, and between 10 and 50 years old.  Kevin points out that when kids go missing the suspect is usually a relative, and so it was since it was vampire Bill.

Speaking of little fairies, Takahashi is having a hard time synthesizing the fairy blood because it contains so many properties, which can’t live by themselves.  When he separates them they become sort of unmagical.  Bill says he will get him more blood, but Takahashi freaks out and says he will not work under these conditions.  Bill pins him to the ceiling and tells him he will not fail.

Burrell is pissed that his men haven’t found Willa yet.  Sara Newlin tries to get his mind off of it.  Apparently they are lovers.  You know Sara, she can’t help herself around a bigot in power.  She says she needs to tell him something, but she’s interrupted by Willa’s return as a vampire.  Willa tells her father that she’s a vampire now, but she’s still herself.  If he loves her then he needs to stop this war on the vampires, dismantle the LAVTF and shut down the camp.  Sara pleas with him not to listen to her, but he says she’s his daugther.  Willa smells the fresh blood from the cut on his hand and attacks him and Sara shoots her.

Sookie puts the finishing touches of colloidal silver drops on the food for Ben.  He is on his way to Sookie’s, but stops and opens his trunk.  Niall is inside.  He makes Niall drink his blood and tells him to quit fighting.  Niall knows he is Warlow.  He confesses to Niall that he was the one that slaughtered Niall’s village, but he spared Niall.  He throws him into the portal he came through.

Emma is asleep and Sam and Nicole have a drink.  Sam comforts her as she talks about hearing her friends screaming in the woods.  He tells her he can still see Luna.  She died in his arms.  They start making out.  I guess that’s one way to block it out.

Sookie is waiting at the table for Ben.  She picks up the plates to put them away because he is late, but then he shows up.  He brings her wine and flowers.  He smells the food, but doesn’t seem to be phased by the silver.  Sookie watches him eat and explains that’s what a lot of cooks do.  They talk about Bill and why he and Sookie broke up.  She says he lied to her and misled her about why he wanted to be with her.  She asks Ben what it is about her that he wants.  He says they understand each other, even though he knows that sounds crazy.

The fairy girls are ready to leave Chez Compton.  Jess can’t let them go until Bill is through with them.  They have grown to be in their late teens early twenties.  They try to break through and leave and Jess gets taken in by the smell and attacks them.  Bill hears Jess’s screams.  She went crazy and drank from all of them so she’s not sure if they are dead or alive.  That’s really going to cause a rift between the Bellefleurs and vampire Bill.

Andy and Jason talk to the store clerk and ask why he didn’t call about the cop car sitting outside his store.  He says he doesn’t get involved in things like that and doesn’t remember anything.  Jason says he must be stupid or either a vampire glamoured him.  Andy asks if vampires can smell fairies and Jason says it’s like catnip to them.  Sookie only has a little and vamps go crazy.  Andy runs for the car and speeds off realizing that Bill has the girls.

After dinner Ben and Sookie start fooling around.  They end up on the couch undressing each other.  After a minute she tells him to get off of her.  He asks her what she said and she says “get the fuck off me or die Warlow”, with a fireball ready above him.

End credits…

So of course, I have a few comments.  Can we please change Willa Burrell’s costume?  Why is she dressed like Blanche from the Golden Girls?  Will she survive in the world of humans?  What’s up with Bill, is he trying to make a synthetic fairy blood that will let vampires walk in the day as super soldiers?  Half of this crap is his fault anyway with his need to be Lilith.  What is up with the werewolves?  They are always dragging Alcide down.  Can there not be some non-psychotic weres somewhere?  All they do is hang around in a barn and try to out-alpha each other.  I miss my lone wolf Alcide, the one that would have worked with Sam to help Emma, not against him.  And what is Sookie planning?  The colloidal silver obviously had no effect on Ben/Warlow, so what will she do with the fireball and why did she have to get half naked to do it?

Bon chance, until next week!
